Once selecting a candidate(s) profile that they like,
an in home interview can be scheduled.

How do you find candidates?
Our candidates are recruited in a variety of ways.
Referrals and word of mouth is how we find the majority
of our qualified candidates.
What are your requirements for candidates to apply
with your agency?
NYC Nanny Finder receives numerous inquiries from
potential candidates about being part of our service.
Our selection process requires all candidates to be
legal to work in the United States and have a minimum
of two years of checkable childcare experience and references.
Once confirmed, the candidates schedule an interview
with our agency.
What is your candidate interview process?
We interview many new applicants a week with only
a very small percentage actually qualifying to be part
of our service. The first steps of our process begins
with us pre-screening a candidate via a phone interview
and qualifying them to meet us for an extensive face
to face interview. During the interview candidates are
evaluated based on professionalism, attitude, skills,
strengths, weaknesses and work history. All references
are contacted and verified. If a candidate meets all
of our requirements, their online profile is added for
our members to review. Once a candidate has been offered
a position, the candidates profile is removed and we
conclude the placement process by running a criminal
background check. Once confirmed, the candidate is ready
to begin work.
Why is your placement fee less than other agencies?
NYC Nanny Finder believes in a fair and reasonable
pricing structure. There is no a sign-up fee to become
a member. At the time a family decides to hire a candidate
for a nanny, babysitter, or temporary help position,
a placement fee is paid.

for the right nanny should be an easier and more time-efficient
process than what is currently offered by existing nanny
placement agencies. After spending four long weeks interviewing
dozens of candidates for our 13 month old son, we were
tired and frustrated with how much time we spent meeting
“great” nannies that just didn’t satisfy
all of our requirements. Why was this so hard?
The root of the problem lied with the agencies, as they
decided which candidates we would meet in the first place.
However, we knew most of the nannies were not quite right
for us within the first minute of the interview. If only
we had the ability to prescreen applicants.
